The Irish Day celebration takes place on Main Street, downtown Murphys and Murphys Community Park. Murphys is located in Calaveras County, in the Sierra Nevada foothills approximately 75 miles east of Stockton. Take Highway 99 to Highway 4 and travel east through Farmington, Copperopolis and Angels Camp to the town of Murphys and follow the event and parking signs. Please do NOT take Murphys Grade Road from Angels Camp to Murphys, as the road will be closed once it merges with Main St.

PARKING AND SHUTTLE

Free event parking is available at Ironstone Vineyards, 1894 Six Mile Road, Murphys. Paid parking ($3 per car) is available at the southeast corner of Main St. - enter from Big Trees road only. Free shuttle buses, sponsored by Ironstone Vineyards and Murphys Business Association, will be traveling to and from Ironstone Vineyards and downtown Murphys every 15 minutes from 8am to 6pm. The shuttle stop is in the parking lot behind The Arbors complex (Alchemy Market) at the south end of Main St. Additional free event parking will be available after the parade (approximately 12:30 pm) in the Black Bart Playhouse parking lot on Algiers St., across from Murphys Community Park.
